CHALLENGE
The existing sawmill required planning approval to increase production capacity while addressing environmental requirements and ensuring a practical traffic outcome for heavy vehicle movements.
SOLUTION
We coordinated a Material Change of Use for High Impact Industry together with two Environmental Relevant Activity approvals, working collaboratively with the Queensland Government, South Burnett Regional Council and the consultant team to deliver a practical planning outcome.
OUTCOME
Development Approval was secured, enabling increased production capacity and supporting the continued growth of one of the South Burnett's longest-standing regional industries.
